Web Design: How to Guarantee Conversions?

When buying a shirt, the first thing that most people look at is its design. The look of the product is what most people consider first – this is what keeps them attracted and interested. For any online business, this concept is important particularly to their web design. For them, a powerful web design ensures them of conversions.
When online users visit a website, what makes them stay longer and be more interested on what your business has to offer is the design of your website. Some web designs are too complicated and somehow hurts the eye of the user with all elements combined to make it look cool. However, there are others that bank more on better user experience by providing a design that is manageable and user-friendly. If web design means conversions, how can web design be built to assure the business with its high conversions?

  •  Like mentioned above, your website should be user-friendly. What we mean by user-friendly is the ease of the user in navigating through your website. For example, if you want a possible user to sign up for your website, make sure that only a few yet important details are included in the form. Too many questions will tire your client. Also, if a customer has finally decided to purchase a product, is the checkout easy? Are there lots of pages to open before he can finally purchase the product? These are considerations that are to be checked when designing your website.
  •  What is more annoying than a page that takes a minute to load on your browser? People online expect things to run fast as they have very short time to wait for a page to load. How will you be able to promise keep a promise of a wide variety of selection to choose if a page is too heavy to load? Do not bombard your page with heavy designs as this can totally ruin your online business and user experience.
  •  Stay on track with web design aesthetics. Your web design communicated to your clients. Make sure that colors, fonts, lines, buttons are all pleasing to the eye. Always direct their attention to the call to action to keep them interested in your page. Let your design do the talking.
  •  Use photos or videos that are clear and appropriate with your website. Poorly taken photos or overly editing them through Photoshop can only ruin your authenticity. Images to be uploaded should be vibrant and should match what your aim for your website. Editing them is okay as long as there is not much of alteration.
  •  Use your white space wisely. Too many colors in your design drowns the eye of your possible customer. Let them breathe by utilizing white space in your design. The lack of white space simply makes your website an eyesore and results to a bad user experience.
The design on your website attracts your target customers. Without taking into consideration the aesthetics and the easy navigation aspects, your website will not persuade your customers to buy any of your products or services. Your web design makes them stay and you have to make this a priority to ensure high conversions to your business.
